Updating Your Emma Account to be Compliant with Recent Changes at Gmail and Yahoo

Making the following changes will allow you to be compliant with recent changes announced by Gmail and Yahoo. To complete these changes within your Emma Account, please follow the steps below.

Step #1: Find Your EMMA Account with Your Mission Unit

Select your Mission Unit Account from the list below and click 'Submit'

After pressing submit on Step #1, please proceed to Step #2.

Step #2: Let us know where you would like to receive responses

When people respond to emails you send through Emma, we will forward those responses to the email address of your choice. This may be a personal email address or a group email address monitored by several people in your Mission Unit.

Step #3: Update your Emma Account

Based on the information you provided above, there are two email addresses for you to make note of before making changes in Emma.

With these two pieces of information, please complete the following steps:

  1. Login to your Emma account.
  2. Click on your name at the top right of your screen and select “Account”.
  3. Under the “Basics” tab, update the “Account email” field to your Account Email Address above and save changes at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Under the “Sender Info” tab, update the “Sender email” field to your Sender Email Address above and save changes at the bottom of the screen.
  5. Updates complete!

Step #4: Verify Your Updates

Everything should be set the next time you send an email. To verify this:

  1. Setup a new campaign in Emma.
  2. Check the Sender email on the campaign setup screen. (Note: if you copy an old campaign, this may revert to an old Sender email address).
  3. If your assigned Sender email with the e2.younglife.org domain is there, send with confidence!
  4. If not, enter your assigned Sender email with the e2.younglife.org domain and click the “Make this the default sender email” checkbox under this field.
